我意外地发现，如果连接到 USB 3.0 端口，我的 Tata Photon E1552/E1800 不能用作 Mint 13 上的调制解调器，但在同一台机器上通过 USB 2.0 端口连接时效果很好。
事实上，当连接到主板上的USB 3.0端口时，它被检测为12d1:1446，并且拒绝切换为调制解调器。当插入同一主板上的 USB 2.0 端口时，它被视为 12d1:140b，网络管理器会自动将其用作调制解调器。
我在另一台运行 XUbuntu 的机器上测试了它，它给出了相同的结果。在 USB 2.0 端口上非常有用，但在 USB 3.0 上则不行。
