值得庆幸的是，解决方案非常简单：

sudo gem uninstall mysql
sudo apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev -y
sudo gem install mysql 

注意：我在尝试卸载 mysql 时收到一条错误消息，但这没关系，因为它首先没有安装。在安装 mysql gem 时，我收到看起来像 errors: 的消息No definition for next_result，但这些不是错误。安装文档时会发生这种情况。它们只是说明某些功能没有任何可用文档的消息。
