GNU tar“--restrict”选项实际上限制了什么？

GNU tar 的手册仅指出--restrict：

   --restrict
          disable use of some potentially harmful options

谁能详细说明这些“有害”选项是什么？我在文档中找不到它。

当前禁用的唯一选项是当系统提示您替换多卷存档中的磁带时，--restrict能够使用该命令生成子 shell 。!
