主板内存限制

我主板的规格页面上写着：

内存：
- 2 x DDRII DIMM 插槽高达 2GB
- 支持 1.8V DDRII DIMM
- 支持双通道 DDR II 533 DIMM

我已经在其中一个插槽中安装了 512MB 内存条 - 我可以在待处理的插槽中添加另一个 2GB 内存条吗？我很困惑，因为上述规范的第一行写着“最多 2GB”。

是每个插槽 2GB 还是总体限制是 2GB？
