由于Java存储对象引用的方式,44 GB实际上可以提供比31 GB更小的可用堆:对于超过32 GB的堆大小,JVM必须切换到64位对象引用,这意味着所有对象占用更多空间.更多细节:http://java-performance.info/over-32g-heap-java/

我的经验法则是保持低于32 GB或更高(例如,50 GB).通常,使用多个JVM(每个JVM堆的容量小于32 GB)更具成本效益.使用48 GB RAM我会坚持31 GB堆.
