自制软件Python不安装setuptools

这完全在iMac OSX 10.9.2上

在进行Homebrew安装的python2.7时,所有内容似乎都正确创建.但是在使用pip或easy_install完成并尝试任何操作后,我不断收到以下错误:

$ pip install virtualenv

Setuptools and Pip have been installed. To update them
  pip install --upgrade setuptools
  pip install --upgrade pip

You can install Python packages with (the outdated easy_install or)
  `pip install <your_favorite_package>`

They will install into the site-package directory
  /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages

我注意到Homebrew Python页面表明"brew install python"应该在'/usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages'上创建一个站点包文件夹.但是,当我导航到'/ usr/local/lib'并使用'ls -a'时,没有与python相关的文件夹.
