Thread.join使当前线程等待,直到您调用它的线程结束.它不会导致您调用它的线程结束.因此,如果该线程永远不会结束(正如您在顶部所说的那样),则调用join将使其永久挂起.

如果你想真正结束线程,请在上面调用cancel.但这需要你的线程偶尔调用isCanceled()并退出其run函数,如果它返回true.

当你myThread.join()在里面调用时,Activity.onCreate你阻止了主UI线程.当然,看起来您的应用程序已停止响应,因为UI线程负责重绘UI.您的所有通话都runOnUiThread不会发生,因为您的UI线程忙于等待您的游戏循环.
