ifconfig 输出中的 RUNNING 是什么意思？

有谁知道 ifconfig 输出中的 RUNNING 标志是什么意思？（我不知道它有多重要，但这是在 Solaris 10 机器上。）

运行状态通常与接口的 UP 状态相关联，即接口是否打开，以及该接口上是否有链接（IP 地址等）

     Indicates that the required resources for  an  interface
     are  allocated.  For some interfaces this also indicates
     that the link is up.

改变运行状态的一种方法是停止它，即down界面。
